Explore a new activity, upgrade an existing skill and learn while you have fun!  At College of the Canyons Community Education we offer:  Short Classes & Activities, Not-for-Credit, Easy registration, Low Fees and Outstanding Instructors.

The COC Summer Institute at College of the Canyons provides students opportunities to consider a career path and provides an alternative to traditional day care summer camp. To be eligible to attend students must be entering grades 6 through 8 in the Fall of 2018.  Each camp is $275 per week, you may register online with your Visa or MC

On this 5-day camp our expert instructors will guide you through a journey into the world of working with metal.  Campers will work in a real-live welding & Metal fabrication laboratory using many of today's common welding processes - including Virtual Reality welding!  Students will also cut, drill, and shape metal into various projects using state-of-the-art metal working equipment!  Assigned metal projects will be completed using acquired skills in conjunction with specified welding, cutting and fabrication equipment.  Safety training is included and all related personal equipment and project materials will be furnished.

In this hands-on workshop we will be learning how to make different flavors of French Macarons.  Recipes include 2-3 different Macarons with plenty to take home.  We will be working in teams of 2 and practicing mixing, piping and filling techniques.  This is a GLUTEN FREE dessert workshop!!

In this hands-on workshop we will be learning how to make different Pate a Choux Pastries, including Eclairs and Cream Puffs, as well as Pastry Cream filling and Ganache for decorating.
  • Mother’s Day Baking---------May 11th (Fri)        6:00PM-8:30PM
Bring you Mom or bake for Mom in this hands-on workshop.  We will be learning how to make different desserts to serve at your Mother's Day Brunch celebrations including a Fruit Tart and scones.
