Do you offer classes that are taught entirely online?

Yes! You may browse through all the online classes by clicking on the ED2GO link on the homepage or from the drop down menu.
 

Who can attend Community Education classes?

Community Education classes are open to the entire community. While classes are generally designed for adults, many are appropriate for teenagers and some are specifically for children. Please call Community Education at 661-362-3300 if you have questions about a specific class.
 

Will I get grades or college credits for Community Education classes?

No. You will not get grades or college credits for Community Education classes.
 

Do I need a parking permit?

YES. Your "Class Confirmation"  printout has a parking pass for that is event specific along with your receipt. Please be sure to put it in your front window each time to attend that class. If you like, you may ink out your name from the receipt.
Parking permit not available for Audit Students.
 

May I get a refund if Community Education cancels a class?

Yes. Preregistered students will be notified if a class is canceled. You may choose a full refund or have your fees transferred to another class. Please allow 2 weeks for check refunds and  up to 5 business days for credit card refunds

May I get a refund if I drop a class?

If you are unable to attend a class for which you registered, you must notify Community Education at least 3 business days before the class begins, (this is not including College of the Canyons Summer Institute program), otherwise a refund will not be issued. Once proper notice has been received, your registration fee will be refunded. If dropping a class later than 3 business days you will be charged a $10.00 service fee. No refunds will be issued after class begins.
 

I have an idea for a class! What should I do?

Please call Community Education at 661-362-3300 or visit it the College of the Canyons, Community Education site at www.canyons.communityext.net. We are always looking for new topics and individuals who love to teach!
